Is it safe to send my credit card details over the Internet?

All orders are processed from start to finish via secure servers. We protect all customer data against unauthorized access. We use secure technology, privacy protection controls and restrictions on employee access, to safeguard your personal information. Your information is safe and secure when you place an order with Critter Cottage! See our SECURITY PAGE for further details.


Can I order by Phone?

We regret that at this time we are unable to take your order via telephone.


Can I order by Fax?

Yes, you are welcome to send your order to us via fax. Add the items you wish to order to your shopping cart, then follow the "Fax Order" checkout buttons. Our shopping cart will automatically generate a completed fax order form ready for you to fax through to us.


Can I order via Mail?

Yes, you are welcome to post us your order. Add the items you wish to order to your shopping cart, then follow the "Mail Order" checkout buttons. Our shopping cart will automatically generate a completed order form ready for you to post to us.

You may make payment using your credit card, Bank Cheque or Money Order (Australian Orders Only). We regret that we are unable to accept personal cheques. Please make Bank Cheque or Money Orders payable to Amaton International Pty Ltd. Please note that we are only able to accept credit card payments from international customers.


Can I pay by Cheque or Money Order?

Yes, you are welcome to post your Bank Cheque or Money Order (Australian Orders Only). To do so your order must be posted to us with your payment. Please make Bank Cheques and Money Orders payable to Amaton International Pty Ltd. We regret that we are unable to accept personal cheques.

To send us your order and payment follow the "mail order" checkout buttons to automatically create a printed mail order form. Send your order together with your bank cheque or money order for the total amount shown. Please make payable to Amaton International Pty Ltd.

Please note that we are only able to accept credit card payments from international customers.


Can I pay by COD?

We regret that we are unable to accept payment by Cash on Delivery (COD).


When will I be charged for my order?

In most cases your card will be charged immediately. If there is an unusual delay you may not be charged until your order is ready to ship. Please be aware, if your card is declined your order will not be sent. Once your order has been sent we will notify you via email.


Can I change or cancel my order?

We regret that once your order has been received it cannot be altered or cancelled.

SHIPPING:


What method of delivery is used?

Our standard method of delivery within Australia is via Australia Post. For larger or perishable items a courier delivery service may be used at our discretion. All orders over $50 are sent via registered post or insured courier delivery. All International orders are shipped via Australia Post International Insured Airmail.


How much will shipping cost?

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS:
Within Australia shipping charges are based upon the weight, dimension and destination postcode of your parcel and are calculated automatically at time of checkout. For further details please see our SHIPPING INFORMATION page.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
International shipping charges are based upon the weight and destination country of your parcel and are calculated automatically at time of checkout. For further details please see our SHIPPING INFORMATION page.


When will my order arrive?

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS:
All orders (items in stock) are despatched within two working days of receiving your payment. Delivery times vary depending upon destination, typically from four to seven working days to all major cities. For delivery to remote or rural areas please allow an extra two to three business days. There are no deliveries anywhere in Australia on weekends or public holidays.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
All orders (items in stock) are despatched within two working days of receiving your payment. Delivery times vary depending upon destination, typically from ten to twenty-one working days to most countries.


What will happen if no-one is at home when my parcel is delivered?

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS:
If there is no one home when Australia Post or our courier calls a card will be left in the mail box. Australia Post will advise you of the nearest Post Office where your order may be collected from or our courier will leave a contact number on a card to ring and arrange a new delivery time. One way to avoid this inconvenience is to have your shipment delivered to your place of work or to a neighbours address who can accept your shipment on your behalf. We regret Post Office Boxes are not acceptable for a courier shipping address.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
International Customers should contact their nearest Postal Delivery Depot in case of non-delivery.


What is your refund policy?

AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMERS:
Critter Cottage accepts returns on most items (terms and conditions apply). See our REFUNDS & RETURNS page for further details.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
We regret that, due to Australia's very strict import and quarantine laws, we are unable to accept returns of international orders.


Do you ship Internationally?

We regret that we are unable to facilitate international orders. We apologise for any disappointment.
